Our Core Values (Our DNA)

There are three core values that we hope that every student involved in our ministry at Michigan State knows that we are about. We call them our DNA- the essentials that make up who we are as a ministry. For each student that has a relationship with Christ, we want them to both know and believe these values.

1. You are a child of the King...know Christ

2. You are a servant of the King...surrender to Christ

3. You are an ambassador to the King...share Christ

Each value has both as aspect of our identity in Christ, and the action that should overflow from our lives as a result of believing that truth. We believe that our identity in Christ, who He has made us to be, should be the sole motivation for the things that we do.

We believe that these core values are on God’s heart and can be found throughout the Bible. Here are a few passages that reveal some of the basis for our DNA. We would love for you to spend time reflecting on and studying these passages of Scripture!
